February Highlights

We definitely got to take advantage of the beautiful weather this last month by spending a lot of time outdoors. We enjoyed taking a few trips to the Hockinson Park as well.
As I mentioned in last month’s newsletter, we brought back the school age bucks! What a success! Not only have we seen an improvement in positive behavior (by using our 3 standards - making good decisions, being respectful, and solving problems) but the kids have also showed interest in doing extra chores to earn $$. Zach V, Brian V., and Nate A. were among our busiest workers. Each of them earned quite a bit for our auctions we held during the month of March.

This Month’s Activities With having early release and Spring Break coming up, there will be some field trips in our future. Some possible ideas are Battle Ground Lake, roller skating, and Firstenburg Center. Please look for field trip forms to follow. March is our annual “African theme.” They will get the opportunity to dress up in African clothing, play African instruments, learn about the African culture, and taste African food. Our African snack is on Tuesday, March 16, and parents/grandparents/friends are more than welcome to join us! It starts at 3:30.

Dates to Remember: March 16th: African snack March 22 - 26: 3 hour early release all week ( we will assume that your child will be here on their scheduled day. Please let us know if they will need extra care on unscheduled days. March 29th - April 2nd: SPRING BREAK! These days are not included in your payment plans. Many fun trips and activities are planned! Sign ups to come…

THANK YOU FOR BRINGING IN SNACKS LAST MONTH!

Thank you!! Miss Kristi, Miss Lindsay, and Mr. Kyle
